” I will give you hidden treasures, riches stored in secret places, so that you may know that I am the LORD, the God of Israel, who summons you by name..” (Isaiah 45:3)
Friends, it is so important that we find that secret place in God. Especially when we are at our darkest times and in our bleakest moments. God will be close to you in your darkness. He is the Almighty God, but God is also intimate and personal. He is your helper, your healer, your Savior and your friend. This personal and intimate God will be close to you in your darkness because he promised he would be.
Be encouraged. God will step into your finances, your health, your family and your job, just when you think there is no hope of restoration or salvation. God will reveal himself in your darkest hour and everything will be changed. Get into that secret place of the Most-High God. Godly things take time to develop. Godly riches are being developed inside of you. Grace and power and strength and even favor is being birthed inside you right now. And it does not yet appear all that God has in store for you.
So do not give up trusting God, even when it’s dark, because God is at work in your darkest hour. It only looks dark in that shadow, but I promise you that under His wings is a cooling place where God brings relief and refreshing winds to your rough situations.
Let God be your shield and buckler. Let Him be your shelter in the time of storm. Let Him cover you and protect you from the toxic elements as well as the flaming arrows of the enemy. If you allow the Lord to be your refuge, no harm will overtake you, and no disaster will come near your tent. For in the secret place, the Lord has given even His angels charge over you. And in the secret place, there are hidden treasures awaiting you – just so you know He is God.
